New Call of the Czech Science Foundation in cooperation with the Luxembourg National Research Fund under the Weave Initiative

The Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR), in cooperation with the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), announces a call for proposals for joint research projects based on the Lead Agency principle, with an expected project start in 2027.
Important dates:
- Opening of the proposals’ submission: 18 December 2025
- FNR deadline (Luxembourg applicants): 21 April 2026
- Deadline for the Czech part of the proposal (GA ČR): 28 April 2026
(i.e. 7 days after the FNR deadline)
Information:
- The call is launched within the Weave initiative.
- Project evaluation is carried out by FNR (acting as the Lead Agency).
- GA ČR acts as a partner organisation and accepts the evaluation results.
- In the GRIS application system, the project must be created under the call:
Lead Agency – Partner Organization – 2027 – NCN (Poland) / FNR (Luxembourg) - The call rules and declaration forms required to demonstrate eligibility are available in the Tender Documentation section.
