The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lusaka has consular and visa responsibility for the Republic of Zambia, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Republic of Malawi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Visa Section
Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lusaka accepts visa applications of citizens or residents of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Republic of Zambia, Republic of Malawi and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Visa section is open for public as per the timetable below. Kindly do not send any electronic documents via email, unless otherwise instructed. Kindly note that the Visa Section will communicate with applicants only.

Consular Section
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lusaka offers the following consular services:
- registry activities (registrations of births, deaths and weddings),
- citizenship activities (confirmation of Czech citizenship status),
- authentication of signatures,
- verification of copies and superlegalizations
Kindly note that our Embassy does not offer translation services. Should you need any document to be translated to (or from) the Czech language, you can use available commercial services. You may choose one of the agencies operating in the Czech Republic. Use web search to find them or use for example the website of translation services or official translator residing in South Africa.
Information about citizenship, passport services, superlegalization, registration of foreign documents in the Czech Republic etc. for the Czechs abroad can be found under the "Consular information" on the left side of the page.
In case of emergency situation of Czech citizens – e.g. loss or theft of passport, need of emergency travel document, car accidents, injuries, detention in Zambia, Zimbabwe, or Malawi, the Consular section of the Embassy can offer consular assistance (contact your family in the Czech Republic, contact with the local lawyer, translator, doctor, etc.).
