A total of 1,888 applications were submitted by candidates interested in pursuing follow-up Master’s and Doctoral study programmes at public universities in the Czech Republic.

The selection process was highly competitive. Only 19 applicants were successful and have been selected for the Government Scholarships of the Czech Republic for the academic year 2026/2027.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lusaka will communicate individually with the selected candidates. Successful applicants are being contacted directly by the Embassy regarding the completion of required documentation and visa-related procedures.

Unsuccessful applicants will receive an automated notification through the official scholarship registration portal: http://registr.dzs.cz/.

All applicants are kindly requested to carefully monitor their e-mail inboxes, including spam folders, as well as the official scholarship portal. Applicants are encouraged to follow these official communication channels rather than sending individual inquiries to the Embassy’s e-mail addresses.
