The Government of the Czech Republic has approved the university scholarship programme for the academic year 2025/2026. The citizens of the Republic of Zambia are included among the eligible applicants for the programme.

Granting scholarships to citizens from developing countries for studies in the Czech Republic represents an important long-term part of the development cooperation efforts of the Czech Republic. The Republic of Zambia, as a priority country of the Czech development cooperation, has been benefiting from the scholarship programme since 2017.

The call for applications is open for students who hold a minimum of a Bachelor´s degree. Eligible applicants can choose from a wide range of follow-up Master and Doctoral Study programmes at a number of Czech universities. Areas of study range from agriculture, environment, engineering, finance, mathematics to ICT, cybersecurity and many more. All programmes are taught in English language. 

Every applicant is required to fill in an electronic application form available on the website http://registr.dzs.cz/registr.nsf. Detailed instructions for the applicants are published on this website. The application period is from 20 July to 30 September 2024.
