Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Šrámek in London

On 16th May 2016 the Czech Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Security and Multilateral Issues Ivo Šrámek held consultations in London.
Together with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in the UK Libor Sečka, the Deputy Minister Šrámek met the Director of the European Department of the Office of the Government Antony Phillipson, the Director of the think-tank Open Europe Stephen Booth, the Junior Minister for Europe David Lidington, the Director of International Defence and Security section of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Peter Jones and the Director of the European section of the FCO Vijay Rangarajan.
The Deputy Minister Šrámek and Ambassador Sečka discussed with their partners the key subjects of the British debate before the upcoming referendum on the future membership of the United Kingdom in the EU, the present development of the campaign before the referendum, the preparations for the British presidency of the EU Council, the current EU and foreign policy issues and the preparations of the NATO summit in Warsaw.
