Meeting of Czech and British Publishers in London

On Thursday, 25 September 2025, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London hosted a networking event bringing together Czech and British publishers. The event took place in the cinema and representative premises of the Embassy and was organised in cooperation with the Czech Literary Centre and the Czech Centre in London.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the Czech Republic’s Guest of Honour participation at the Frankfurt Book Fair and offered a unique opportunity to establish new contacts and strengthen cooperation between Czech and British partners in the field of literature and publishing.
On the Czech side, a number of renowned publishing houses and literary agencies took part, including Argo, Bourdon, Labyrint, Paseka, Prostor, Větrné mlýny, 65. pole, as well as agencies such as Dana Blatná Literary Agency, Pluh Literary Agency and Prague Literary Agency. The British publishing scene was represented among others by Akoya Publishing, Amazon Publishing, Bloomsbury Publishing, HarperCollins, Penguin Random House UK, Quercus Publishing, Scribe UK, and more.
