On November 27, 2014, H.E. Ms. Věra Zemanová,  the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovenia, together with Mr. Peter Maček, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education of Slovenia,  handed awards to the pupils of Slovenian basic schools for participation in the 42nd year of International Children's Fine Arts Exhibition of Lidice. 46 Slovenian basic schools  with 472 registered works participated in the exhibition. 12 pupils and one basic school  were awarded. Apart from the pupils, the principals of the schools as well as the teachers and pupils' parents participatd in the festive award handover.
