The Vernissage of the Exhibition of the UNESCO Sights in the Czech Republic

On May 7, 2015, the vernissage of the exhibition of UNESCO sights in the Czech Republic took place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana. The exhibition was festivaly opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovenia H.E. PhDr. Věra Zemanová in the presence of the Dearn of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana Prof. Dr. Branka Kalenić Ramšak and the Head of the Department of Slavonic studies Prof. Dr. Namita Subiotto. Amongst the honourable guests of the vernissage were also representatives of other embassies. In a large number mostly the students of Czech language and literature were present at the vernissage but also students of other fields studying at the Faculty of Arts. The vernissage was diversified by a short concert of Vach Choir of Moravian teachers from Brno that commenced its tour round Slovenia. Eight Czech folk songs modified by Czech composers e.g.  Mr. Petr Eben, Mr. Leoš Janáček, Mr. Zdeněk Lukáš etc. were sung at the concert.
