On May 13, 2015, Mr. Ladislav Bánovec, the Director of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic had a meeting at the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia. The meeting took place in the frame of the participation of Mr. L. Bánovec at the celebration of 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Department of the West Slavic Languages of the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. At the meeting were present from Slovenian side Mr. Andrej Kotnik, the Secretary of the Section of Higher Education, Ms. Tatjana Jurković, the Secretary of the Department for International Cooperation and EU matters and Ms. Maja Keržan, the Adviser at the Department for International Cooperation and EU matters. The main topics of the  discussion were exchange of students between both countries,  prospective direct cooperation and exchange of experiences of pedagogical staff of both countries, the state of tuition of Slovene in the Czech Republic or tuition of Czech in Slovenia, present state of the treaty base in the field of education and science.
