Czech Statehood Day in Kuwait

In honor of the Czech National Day -  the Czech Statehood Day and the first Czech saint - St. Wenceslas (28. 09.) a Mass was held, upon request of Ambassador - Designate, H. E. Juraj Chmiel, in the catholic church in Kuwait. The Mass was celebrated by the apostolic nuncio. In the full church, including  a number of diplomats and members of the Czech community, the carol "Good king Wenceslas" was sung by the church choir at the end of the celebration. A long-standing tradition of Ambassador-designate - to request the nuncio to serve the Mass in honout of St. Wenceslas on this important day for Czechia - continues also in Kuwait ⛪️ .
