Visit of the President of the Senate of Malaysia H.E. Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang to the Czech Republic

The President of the upper house of the Malaysian Parliament, H.E. Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang, visited the Czech Republic on October 20-22, 2015. The Malaysian Senate delegation arrived in the Czech Republic on the invitation of the President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament, Mr. Milan Štěch.
During the three-day visit the President of the Malaysian Senate met with the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Milan Štěch, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka, the Vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, Mrs. Jaroslava Jermanová and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr. Lukáš Kaucký.
The bilateral talks with the above mentioned Czech representatives focused on mutual cooperation in the field of economy and trade, education, science and technology, tourism, defence and security.
The President of the Senate of Malaysia, H.E. Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang was invited to visit the Czech Republic by the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, H.E. Milan Štěch
