The Czech Republic Showcased at the European Higher Education Fair in Kuala Lumpur

Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuala Lumpur together with seven Czech universities presented opportunities for study in the Czech Republic at the European Higher Education Fair, which took place in the KLCC exhibition centre in Kuala Lumpur on March 12-13, 2016.

The study opportunities in the Czech Republic were showcased at the Czech national booth by the representatives of the Czech Embassy and at the separate booths of the following seven Czech universities: Charles University, Czech Technical University in Prague, University of Pardubice, Technical University Liberec, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, University of Economics Prague, University of Chemistry and Technology Prague. The opportunities for studying in the Czech Republic were highlighted also during a lecture “Study in the Czech Republic” given by a representative of the Czech Embassy.

The Malaysian Deputy Minister of Higher Education H.E. Mr. Kamalanathan Panchanathan visited the Czech Republic’s exposition, accompanied by the Czech Ambassador. He was briefed on the activities of Czech universities and the Czech government aimed at developing education and research cooperation with Malaysia. Education is one of the main areas of bilateral relations with about 300 Malaysians studying in the Czech Republic, mostly at medical schools.
