Malaysian Students Awarded in Fine Arts Exhibition of Lidice 2020

Two young Malaysian artists – Muhammad Nouri Taufik bin Suzuki from Shah Alam and Wesley Ting Ri Hong from Sibu – were among the students who won recognitions by the jury of the 48th International Children‘s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2020.
In this year‘s edition of the international exhibition, whose theme was “Landscape”, the total of 22216 fine art works from 78 countries were submitted, out of which the jury awarded 1403 young, aspiring artists. Malaysian students sent 61 works.
As current situation sadly prohibits personal meetings, both awardees received their awards by mail only.
Participation at the International Fine Arts Children‘s Exhibition has always been of a great interest among Malaysian students, their families and teachers and constitute an important opportunity to remind of the legacy of Lidice and to promote a good name of the Czech Republic abroad.
