
Ambassador Was Received by HRH Sultan of Terengganu

The Sultan of the Malaysian State of Terengganu, His Royal Highness Mizan Zainal Abidin, received on the 26th of July, 2016 the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Malaysia, Mr. Rudolf Hykl. Also present at the courtesy call, which took place in the capital of Terengganu Kota Bharu, was the Chief Minister of Terengganu, HE Ahmad Razif.
During the courtesy call, Ambassador Hykl informed HRH Sultan of Terengganu about the foreign political and economic developments in the Czech Republic, as well as the bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Czech Republic.
His Royal Highness Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin mentioned with admiration the architectural beauty of the Czech Republic and its capital Prague. He also commented on the industrial tradition of the Czech Republic, as he had a chance to observe it during his private visit of the Czech Republic in 1999.
Ambassador Hykl was received separately also by the Chief Minister of Terengganu, HE Ahmad Razi. The Chief Minister expressed interest in cooperation with the Czech Republic in the fields of education and promotion of tourism.
