The Traditional Meeting of Heads of Czech Embassies in European Countries will Take Place at the Czernin Palace

On Thursday, 23 January and Friday, 24 January 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host a meeting of the heads of Czech embassies in European countries. Ambassadors and Consuls General will discuss with experts the current issues beyond the borders of Europe and together they will seek answers to the challenges facing the Czech Foreign Service in a dynamically changing international environment.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský will as usual begin the meeting. Guests will include the Minister for European Affairs, Martin Dvořák, and the Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Síkela. The debate on EU affairs will be complemented by a trio of senior directors, Štěpán Černý (Office of the Government), David Müller (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and Jiří Georgiev (Ministry of Finance). The Director of the Asylum and Migration Policy Department of the Ministry of the Interior, Pavla Novotná, and the Special Envoy for Energy Security, Václav Bartuška, will speak about current challenges such as migration and energy security.
