Temporary Closure of the Czech Embassy in Tehran

For security reasons related to the ongoing military conflict affecting the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský decided on 19 June 2025 to temporarily suspend the operation of the Czech Embassy in Tehran. The measure is valid until further notice.
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Czech citizens and their family members who urgently need consular assistance in Iran contact the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs emergency line at +420 222 420 222.
