
Minister Lipavský Will Visit the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Minister Lipavský will meet his British counterpart David Lammy on 14 November 2024. The Ministers will discuss the development of Czech-British relations, the conflict in Ukraine and current foreign policy issues.
They will then discuss Czech-British cooperation in the foreign policy and security spheres and current security challenges with the British Prime Minister's National Security Deputy Adviser Nick Catsaras.
During the two-day visit, the head of Czech diplomacy will present the Gratias Agit award to historian and prominent figure in the Czechoslovak veteran community George Scott, and take part in a discussion with University College London students on Czech foreign policy and the role of collective memory.
Minister Lipavský will also attend the Magnitsky Human Rights Awards ceremony. Jan Lipavský received this award for his contribution to the protection of human rights in 2022.
