Minister Lipavský to speak at IAEA International Conference on Nuclear Security

On Monday, 20 May 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský will deliver a speech at the ICONS 2024 international conference organised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. The head of Czech diplomacy will also meet with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
Jan Lipavský's national address at the conference will focus, among other things, on the workshop of Working Group 1 on Nuclear Safety of Ukrainian Nuclear Facilities under the President Zelensky's Peace Plan, which Czechia hosted in Prague in mid-April 2024. Minister Lipavský will also meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Teresa Ribeiro and Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the Provisional Technical Secretariat of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).
