Minister Lipavský on a working trip to Hungary

On 25 and 26 April 2024, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský will visit Budapest, where he will meet with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó, give a lecture at the local Ludovika University and meet with Budapest Mayor Gergel Karácsony.

The Czech and Hungarian ministers will discuss Czech-Hungarian relations, the situation in Ukraine and other geopolitical issues. Afterwards, the Minister will give a lecture at Ludovika University on Central Europe and the Czech perspective on the Russian war against Ukraine. In the evening, the head of Czech diplomacy will meet with the Mayor of Budapest, Gergel Karácsony, to discuss cooperation between Prague and Budapest. Minister Lipavský will conclude his visit at the Czech Embassy in Budapest, where he will meet with representatives of NGOs and independent journalists.
