Initialing of the Delivery Plan for the Statement of Intent between the Foreign Ministries of the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom

The Director General for Europe, Jakub Karfík, and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Czech Republic, Matt Field, initialed the Delivery Plan for the framework document (Statement of Intent) for bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which was signed at the level of Foreign Ministers on 27 May 2022.
Czechia and the United Kingdom are close partners and allies, and the quality and scope of mutual cooperation was reflected, among other things, in the fact that the implementation of the initial plan agreed for three years was fulfilled during 2023-24, and therefore a new Delivery Plan was agreed for another three years. The plan outlines the areas on which cooperation between Czechia and the United Kingdom will focus in the coming period.
