Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Macinka on a Working Visit to the United States

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Macinka will visit Washington, D.C., from 3 to 5 February 2026. At the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, he will attend a conference on critical minerals aimed at reducing dependence on China, and will also meet with representatives of leading American think tanks, the Heritage Foundation and the Hudson Institute.
The visit will conclude on Thursday, 5 February, with meetings with representatives of the largest American investors in the Czech Republic and with the leadership of the Heritage Foundation and the Hudson Institute. In a nod to the political line of his predecessor, he will also stop by a stand for a hot dog and a donut.
