Deputy Minister Smolek Held Talks in Mongolia

Deputy Minister Martin Smolek held bilateral consultations on consular and visa issues between the Czech Republic and Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar on May 25, 2017. The head of the Czech delegation met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Tsend Munkh-Orgil and after that with State Secretary Davaassuren Damdinsuren.
Current visa issues, migration, visa outsourcing, rising interest in working and student visa at Mongolian side as well as other topics were on agenda during the meetings. The delegations discussed their experience in procedures in consular cases. Their talks focused mainly on the option of visa-free travelling of Czech nationals to Mongolia. This step is very likely to be realized shortly. The bilateral Agreement on Social Security and Re-Admission Agreement were discussed during the meeting as well.
