Accommodation

 

Document showing accommodation arrangements for stay in CZE / Schengen Area must be submitted with all Schengen visa and long-term visa / residence permit applications (with the exception of scientific research).

SCHENGEN VISAS

Supporting documents showing accommodation can include the following: hotel booking, hotel voucher, spa voucher, private invitation with name and address of the inviting person and visit dates, official invitation certified by the Foreign Police Service, undertaking of an inviting party to provide accommodation etc. 

LONG-TERM VISAS AND RESIDENCE PERMITS

Applicants for long-term visas and residence permits are required to arrange accommodation before arriving to CZE and provide a proof that they have done so. Supporting documents proving accommodation can be submitted as for example accommodation agreement (signature does not need to be verified by notary), rent agreement (signature does not need to be verified by notary), property ownership proof (purchase agreement, land register extract), dormitory document or confirmation on providing accommodation (signature must be verified by a notary, see the form below). Note: If renting, submit also a document showing that the landlord can rent the property - for example in a form of land register extract.

Do submit documents in originals or officially certified copies.
