Information on ETIAS

Citizens of third countries who do not require visas for short-term (up-to 90 days) travel to the Schengen Area will be required to obtain a travel authorization in the ETIAS system. The ETIAS system is expected to become operational during 2026. Detailed information on ETIAS, incl. who will need to obtain a travel authorization through ETIAS, how to apply etc. is available on the official website of the EU on ETIAS.
