The plan builds on the previous two National Action Plans and serves as a tool of Czech foreign policy while placing greater emphasis on internal security and societal resilience. While remaining grounded in the four core pillars of the WPS agenda - prevention, participation, protection, and relief & recovery -  the plan strengthens the involvement of women in peace and security processes, responds to current threats, and introduces concrete steps to promote gender equality and women's rights, prevent violence, and support women and girls both at home and abroad.

The third plan also reinforces Czechia’s commitment to:

• - Strengthening women’s leadership and participation in peace and security processes.
• - Mainstreaming gender perspectives across all relevant policies and sectors.
• - Ensuring that development cooperation and humanitarian aid are responsive to the specific needs of women and girls.
• - Monitoring progress annually, with oversight provided by the inter-ministerial working group chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Through these efforts, Czechia continues to position the WPS agenda as a strategic and values-based component of its foreign policy, contributing to a safer, more just, and inclusive world.
