PRAGUE ART WEEK 22

 

The PAW 22 festival will be held during the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also participates on this extraordinary cultural event. Prague Art Week 22 will present the best of the programme of Prague’s leading museums and galleries over seven days from 9 to 15 September 2022. The festival will offer the general public dozens of openings and exhibitions, as well as a thematic educational programme with the participation of prominent personalities from the Czech Republic and abroad.

The opening of the festival will take place on Friday 9 September on the piazzetta of the National Theatre. On the second weekend in September, the doors of major art institutions, galleries, private collections and art studios across Prague will open for free. In addition, during Saturday and Sunday, visitors to the National Gallery Prague, the Prague City Gallery, Kunsthalle Praha, Kampa Museum, DOX, Rudolfinum and others can look forward to special accompanying programmes to the exhibitions. The PAW 22 festival will be held during the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union, under the auspices of the Minister for European Affairs Mikuláš Bek and the Minister of Culture Martin Baxa. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also participates on this extraordinary cultural event.
