The event was attended by representatives from more than twenty countries. The project was made possible through a partnership between the Municipal Secretariat for International Relations and the Municipal Secretariat for Greenery and Environment of the City of São Paulo, with support from the consular corps. Its aim, in the context of Brazil’s preparations for the COP30 climate conference, is to symbolically connect friendships between nations and promote cultural diversity and sustainability through tree planting.
