Partnership between Diplomatic Academy of the MFA and Diplomatische Akademie Wien enters a new phase.

The Diplomatic Academy of the MFA has been traditionally carrying out a cooperation with its foreign partners and other training institutions. A partnership with the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna has launched a new phase by the lecture of prof. Otto Pick on the Czech foreign policy.
January 17, 2013, the president of the Academic Council of the Diplomatic Academy, professor Otto Pick gave a lecture to the students of the international master programme of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. This lecture has launched a new phase of the cooperation between the Czech and Austrian Diplomatic Academies.
The close cooperation has as its objective a more intensive participation of diplomats in traning activities of the partner academy. It can be on the geografical proximity and close existing links between the two academies.
A conference on „Central Europe“ which is planned to be organised in Vienna in at the beginning of March of this year is another activity in the framework of such a partnership. Students of the junior diplomatic training programme of the Czech Diplomatic Academy have been also invited to Vienna to participate. The conference will be supported by the italian Institute of Advance International Studies as well.
Furthemore, at the end of March, Director of the Vienna Diplomatic Academy, Mr. Hans Winkler, will speak in front of the Czech Diplomats about the diplomacy in the XXI. century in Prague.
