NEW DATE OF REGISTRATION: Registration process for submitting applications for Employee Cards in Jakarta for the period July-August 2026

Due to technical issues, registration to receive applications for the purpose of employment for the period July-August 2026 will take place on a new date, that is on June 8, 2026 from 8 am to 2 pm Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

1. Send a registration email to the following email address: Jakarta.Visa@mzv.gov.cz* on the above-mentioned date at the above-mentioned time. The registration must be sent directly to the specified email address designated for registrations (i.e., the above given email address must not be only written in the CC section of the sent email).

2.In the email subject line write: passport number.

3. In the body of the email, include the following information: full name (as it appears on your passport), type of visa and purpose of stay.

4. Attach the following documents to the e-mail (in .pdf format): a scan of the passport data page, a scan of the proof of purpose of residence, and a scan of the valid residence permit (in the case of third-country nationals).

5. Applicants who are not citizens of the countries belonging to the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Jakarta must also attach proof that they have been permitted to reside in the country within the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy for at least the two years preceding the application. If residence cannot be proven, the applicant must submit the application in their home country.

6. 1 applicant = 1 email. Submit only one email. Only one applicant can be submitted in each email. Due to the strong anti-spam protection used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, we recommend sending a request for each applicant always from a different email address.

7. Your email will be processed electronically by a system based on a randomized element.

8. The following emails will be disqualified from the registration process:
(i) emails that are not sent in the format specified in points 1-3,
(ii) emails that do not include the attachments referred to in point 4,
iii) emails in which the applicant attempts to register multiple applicants in one submission**,
(iv) emails that are sent multiple times by one applicant,
v) emails sent outside the specified registration period,
vi) emails with attachments larger than 10 MB.

9. Wait for the confirmation. The Embassy will inform you within 7 days whether or not a submission date has been assigned.

10. If you do not receive confirmation of an assigned appointment within 7 days, it implies that your registration for an appointment was either unsuccessful or was not sent in accordance with the terms and conditions of the registration process.

11. The assigned date cannot be changed. If you fail to show up for your appointment, the assigned date becomes invalid. If you arrive late without prior apology, your appointment will also be cancelled - in such a case, the Embassy will proceed with other applicants who arrived on time.

Number of applications accepted for the given period: 12

*The email address provided is for residency application appointments only. It is not intended for general communication or answering inquiries.
**Applicants acknowledge that the mzv.gov.cz email domain is protected by advanced cybersecurity systems. Therefore, emails identified as spam (in the case of a larger number of emails sent from a single email mailbox) or potentially harmful, those exhibiting signs of automated mass distribution, originating from IP addresses or domains on security blacklists, or those failing to meet or exceeding the established security parameters of the domain, may be excluded from the registration process. The use of automated tools, bots, scripts, or any other software for mass distribution of registration emails will be classified as a cyber threat, and such emails will be excluded from registration.

Most common mistakes/FAQ:

1. Only enter the passport number in the subject of the registration email. No other characters are accepted (Re., Fwd:, etc.)

2. Email registration will take place during the period mentioned above. Emails delivered to the Jakarta.Visa@mzv.gov.cz mailbox before the start of the registration or after it ends will not be considered or will be removed from the registration. The decisive factor is the time the email is received in the mailbox.

3. Due to cyber security measures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, we recommend sending emails in the early hours of the designated registration period, not at its end, and also recommend not sending a large number of emails from a single email account.

4. Each applicant can send only one email. If more than one email is sent for the same applicant during the given period, the applicant will be automatically removed from registration, even if the emails are sent from different email addresses.

5. The attachment of the email application must be ONLY copies of the following documents exclusively in PDF format:

- a scanned copy of the applicant's passport data page
- a scan of the employment contract

6. Citizens of countries other than Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and East Timor may only participate in the registration if they have been residing long-term in Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, or East Timor for more than 2 (two) years based on a long-term residence permit. A scan of this residence permit must be sent in PDF format in the registration email along with the other attachments.

7. Registration emails that are not sent directly to the designated email inbox, but only as a copy (CC), will be excluded from the registration.

8. Registration emails where the sender has activated the inability to reply to the registration email in copy will be excluded from the registration.
