Appointments for Short-Term (Schengen) Visa

For categories of family members of EU nationals applying under Directive 2004/38/EC, holders of diplomatic/service passports, humanitarian cases or serious health cases attested by Czech and Pakistani medical authorities, the request could be sent to islamabad.schengen@mzv.gov.cz.

Requests for appointments to submit short-term visa applications should be sent to: islamabad.schengen@mzv.gov.cz.

The subject line must contain the applicant's passport number only. If applicable, the letters of the passport number has to be written IN CAPITALS.

The body of the message should contain the following information:

a) the applicant’s full name;

b) nationality of the applicant:

c) purpose of stay:

d) expected dates of arrival to and departure from the Czech Republic;

e) contact telephone number.             

NOTE: A scan of the data page of the travel document in pdf format must be attached in the email request.

NOTE: The Embassy strongly recommends sending the request for an appointment at least 6 weeks prior to the intended stay in the Schengen area.

NOTE: The Embassy does not accept group request. All applicants must send request individually.

TIME TO ASK FOR AN APPOINTMENT

ATTENTION - CHANGE from 31.7.2024
Those interested in arranging an appointment to apply for a short stay/ Schengen visa shall register electronically on the last working day of the month from 12:00 (noon) to 18:00 Pakistan time via email islamabad.schengen@mzv.gov.cz. Registration is done automatically using a random element. The number of dates awarded is subject to the capacity of the Embassy's Consular Section. The appointment slots will always open one month in advance i.e. for the month of September the slots will open on the last working day of July, for the month of October the slots will open on the last working day of August and so on.

THE EMBASSY WILL NOT ACCEPT:

- multiple requests by a single applicant in a given slots opening period
- requests for different services in a single e-mail
- group requests, with the exception of the applicant and his/her close family dependents

- it is strictly recommended that attachments must be less than 3 MB

- e-mails not containing the passport number in the subject only

- e-mails not containing the requested information only
