Appointments for Long-Term Visa/Residence

Requests for appointments to submit long-term visa or residence permit applications should be sent to: islamabad.visa@mzv.gov.cz.
Applicants who have been assigned an appointment for long term visa and long term residence permit submission are requested to bring copies of all original documents and application forms.
The subject line must contain the applicant's passport number only. If applicable, the letters of the passport number has to be written IN CAPITALS.
The body of the message should contain the following information:
a) the applicant’s full name;
b) type of authorization required, i.e. long-term visa or residence permit;
c) purpose of stay, e.g. study, research, sport;
d) expected dates of arrival to and departure from the Czech Republic;
e) contact telephone number.
Scan copy of a document attesting to the purpose of stay, e.g. letter of acceptance for study, researcher hosting agreement must be attached.
Note: Applications for long-term visa/residence permits have to be supported by documents already certified for international use. This certification should be done in advance, before requesting an appointment to submit an application for visa/residence permit.
NOTE: Pakistani nationals included in the programme “Highly Qualified Employee” or “Key and Scientific Staff” by their prospective Czech employers will be contacted by the Embassy and offered appointments to apply for work permits.
TIME TO ASK FOR AN APPOINTMENT
ATTENTION - CHANGE from 31.7.2024
Those interested in arranging an appointment to apply for a long-term stay visa / Residence permit shall register electronically on the last working day of the month from 12:00 (noon) to 18:00 Pakistan time via email islamabad.visa@mzv.gov.cz. Registration is done automatically using a random element. The number of dates awarded is subject to the capacity of the Embassy's Consular Section. The appointment slots will always open one month in advance i.e. for the month of September the slots will open on the last working day of July, for the month of October the slots will open on the last working day of August and so on.
THE EMBASSY WILL NOT ACCEPT:
- multiple requests by a single applicant in a given slots opening period
- requests for different services in a single e-mail
- group requests, with the exception of the applicant and his/her family dependents for family purposes
- it is strictly recommended that attachments must be less than 3 MB
- e-mails not containing the passport number in the subject only
- e-mails not containing the requested information only
