Long-term Visas/ Permits appointment
Starting from March 2025, the Consulate General, within its capacity constraints, is able to process the following number of employee card applications per month: 27 applications from Hong Kong and 2 applications from Macao.

Submission and Registration
Applications for all types of long-term visas and residence permits should be registered via the following email address: hongkong.consulate@mzv.gov.cz. Applicants are only entitled to submit their applications at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in the state where they hold citizenship, or in the state where they have had long-term or permanent residence for at least 2 years.

In the subject line of the email, please include:
Applicant's NAME, SURNAME, DATE OF BIRTH, and PASSPORT NUMBER.
[Necessary Information]
All email registrations must include the following details:
Applicant's name and surname,
Applicant's date of birth,
Applicant's travel document number,
Purpose of intended stay (e.g., study, family reunification, employment, business, sport, scientific research, invitation, etc.),
Applicant's contact details (telephone and email in HK/Macao),
Proof of residency in Hong Kong/Macao (HK/Macao permit and visas issued for a stay longer than 365 days),
Proof of address in Hong Kong/Macao.
[Required Attachments]
Please attach the following documents in PDF format:
A scan of the proof of the purpose of stay,
A scan of the data page of your passport,
A scan of the applicant's residence permit issued by Hong Kong/Macao authorities.

Only one applicant per email.
Excluded Registrations:
Emails without required information and attachments
Emails not sent in the specified format,
Emails attempting to register multiple applicants simultaneously (except for parents registering minors),
Multiple emails sent by a single applicant,
Emails sent to different email addresses,
Emails with attachments larger than 10 MB.
Post-Registration:
After successful registration, an automated response will be sent within 5 working days with a scheduled date for lodging your application. Please note that the date for lodging the application at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong is fixed and cannot be altered.
Should you not receive a date for lodging your visa application, it is likely due to not meeting the specified registration requirements.
Appointment Regulations:
Please note that appointments cannot be rescheduled. Due to capacity constraints and to ensure transparency and predictability, we cannot accommodate specific date requests. If you are unable to attend the allocated date, you must register for a new appointment as per the above procedure. Failure to appear or arriving late without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the appointment, in which case the Consulate will attend to other applicants who arrive on time.
