Conditions for the entry to the Czech Republic for EU citizens

As a result of the crisis measures issued by the Government, it is not possible to travel to the Czech Republic for the purpose of tourism or visiting friends. It is possible for foreigners to travel to the Czech Republic only for essential reasons. Neither negative test nor quarantine is required for people travelling to the Czech Republic from Finland.

Based on the epidemiological situation evaluation and based on the broader coordination at the European Union level, different rules shall apply to persons coming from a so-called green zone country (a country with a low risk of COVID-19) and to persons coming from a so-called red zone country (all other countries). The division of countries into each zone is available at the Ministry of Health website and the list will be regularly updated. Finland is in the green group, i.e. persons living in Finland can travel to Czechia without the need for quarantine or a negative test.

As a result of the crisis measures issued by the Government, starting from October 22, it is not possible to travel to the Czech Republic for the purpose of tourism or visiting friends. This applies also to green zone countries that have previously not been subject to any restrictions. It is possible for foreigners to travel to the Czech Republic only for essential reasons, such as travelling to work and for business purposes, essential family travel or travelling to healthcare facilities.

Detailed information can be found on the webpage of the Ministry of Interior.
