The Czech Day in Helsinki was realized in connection with the celebration of the 100 year anniversary of establishment of Czechoslovakia. We started the celebration with an open air concert of Czech artists on the Esplanadi stage on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 17:00 to 20:00.
The Czech Day in Helsinki was held in connection with the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia. The visitors were welcomed by the Ambassador Ivan Jukl and the popular children's hero The Mole.
Several Czech artists performed on the Esplanadi outdoor stage - artists group Long Vehicle Circus, popular singer Thom Artway and DJ Gadjo's music accompanied by saxophonist Michal Hadaš. During the show visitors could see panels with the 1918 exhibition commemorating the 100 anniversary and kids were greeted by their favorite hero The Mole.
Czech street artist ChemiS arrived to the Pasila district of Helsinki and started to create his outdoor picture.
