Two young Czechs, Markéta Marvanová and Adam Záviška have become the first ever to complete the 900 km race Lapland Extreme Challenge.
As a first in the history of the race, they managed in 27 days to finish Lapland Extreme Challenge - 900 km long route in Lapland winter wilderness. On their way back from Rovaniemi they make a stopover at the Embassy in Helsinki and shared their experiences with listeners.
Peggy (21) took part in a number of similar "challenges". E.g. Divide Tour (4500 km cycling race across North America), the 150 km long-distance running in winter Lapland, she won the first place in the race 1,000 miles across Czechia and Slovakia, participated Scottish Hihglandtrail and many others. Besides being an oustanding athlet, Peggy organizes fund raising to support handicapped children.
We wish Peggy and Adam a lot of energy into all other activities!
