The exhibition project organized in collaboration with the Jindřich Chalupecký Society presents works by nine contemporary Czech artists and one artistic collective, addressing the psychological dimensions of fear, projection and blame experienced by individuals facing current global challenges of the so-called Anthropocene. It attempts to offer a mirror to the viewer's own experience and a moment to rethink the alternatives or ways out of a vicious circle. Both internationally recognized and emerging artists are presented in the exhibition, working with diverse media from photography, painting and sculpture to installation, video and performance. The selected artists were in the past 15 years among the finalists or laureates of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award, the most recognized post-89 Czech award for young visual artists, which contributes to mapping the Czech art scene from 1990s till today.
