Visit of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Ivo Šrámek in Finland

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic responsible for European Section Ivo Šrámek visited Finland on 24 February 2016. He had discussions with Special Adviser for EU-Affairs Mr Jari Haapiainen at the Prime Minister´s Office, with Director General of the Department for Europe at MFA of Finland Mrs Liisa Talonpoika and her Deputy Juha Ottman and with Director General of the Political Department of MFA Mr Jukka Salovaara. Director General Talonpoika organized a working lunch which was attended also by Ambassador Pekka Orpana, Senior Adviser for external energy relations and climate policy at the MFA.
The main topics of all discussions were the questions of migration, Nord Stream II, energy, Eastern Partnership, Russia, Ukraine. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Ivo Šrámek pointed out that Czechia and Finland have many common topics which can be also seen in numeral bilateral contacts on almost all levels.
