Visit to Helkama-Auto Oy

Ambasador H.E. M. Tomčo accompanied by 1st Secretary of the Embassy J. Maruška have paid a visit at the Finnish car importer Helkama-Auto Oy in Espoo.
The visit took place on February 25th, 2011. The family firm, founded in 1905, is an exclusive importer of Škoda 
. First cars were imported in 1947, just couple of pieces at that time; the record was reached in 2010 with more than 9000 pieces registered. The Finnish firm weathered a very tought period at the beginning of the 90´s of the last century with sales of abt. 250 pieces a year. Both visitors were received by the Managing director Tapani Funke and the technical director Mirek Vaněk.
