Obligation to obtain visa applies to foreigners, who are nationals of 3rd country and are holders of travel documents issued by Ireland. It applies to all types of travel documents as follows:

1. Travel document (Convention of 28 July 1951)
2. Travel document (Convention of 28 September 1953), and
3. Travel document issued according to Irish International Protection Act 2015 or International Protection Act 2026 regardless its holder has the status of refugee or stateless person or is a part of Programme Refugees or is under Temporary Protection.
