The conference takes place once every 10 years and provides a good opportunity to strengthen partnerships between developed and developing countries, civil society, international financial institutions and, last but not least, the private sector. The Czech delegation was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Martin Dvořák, and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Doha, H.E. Petr Chalupecký. In his remarks, he stated that strengthening ties between the least developed countries and their developed partners is absolutely essential in solving current problems. In this context he cited the cooperation of Czechia with Cambodia, Ethiopia and Zambia as examples.
