Visit of Mr. Ohnmacht, Head of the EU Delegation to Syria, to the Czech Embassy

On 13.11.2024, Mr. Michael Ohnmacht, New Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Syria based in Beirut, paid an important visit to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Damascus. During his visit, Mr. Ohnmacht held a fruitful and comprehensive meeting with Mr. Roman Masarik, the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Damascus. The two dignitaries discussed a variety of topics concerning Syria’s political and humanitarian landscape, with a focus on the critical role of international diplomacy and humanitarian assistance in the region.
The discussion centered on the vital role that the European Union Delegation plays in Syria, particularly in terms of providing humanitarian support and advancing diplomatic efforts for peace.
