Donation from Pliskova Tennis Academy

On June 24, 2024, a donation ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Damascus to hand over professional tennis rackets to young Syrian tennis players.
This humanitarian activity was carried out thanks to Pliskova Tennis Academy, the Czech company Vodní zdroje Ekomonitor spol. s.r.o. and the Syrian company ARCHOUSE.
Dr. Safa Sarakbi, President of the Syrian Tennis Federation, also attended the event.
Under her leadership, Syria advanced in the Davis Cup to the World Group II Play-Off, which will take place in 2025.
The event underlined the commitment of the Czech Republic to humanitarian support in various areas in Syria, including sports, and to provide opportunities for young talents.
