Film "Closely Watched Trains" in Husets Biograf

On Tuesday 20 February, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen and Husets Biograf arranged another film night. For the February projection, we have chosen one of the most significant films of Czechoslovak New Wave "Closely Watched Trains" (1966). The film, which won the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 40th Academy Awards in 1968, was screened on the occasion of 80th birthday of the film’s director Jiří Menzel.
