Danish premiere of the Czech film "Little from the Fish Shop"

The Czech puppet film “Little from the Fish Shop” directed by Jan Balej had its Danish premiere at the first year of the International Animation Film Festival VOID which took place in Copenhagen on 27 – 31 January 2016.
The film is an adaptation of the Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen set in a contemporary background of a modern city. It is one of the first Czech feature puppet animated films using puppet and digital animation (stop motion + CGI).
The premiere of the film “Little from the Fish Shop” took place on Saturday 30 January 2016 in Cinemateket, attended by the Czech Ambassador. The programme was followed by a little refreshment in the cinema foyer.
