Danish company IDdesign enters the Czech market

Another Danish company will soon enter the Czech market. It is a confirmation of an extraordinary interest of Denmark in the Czech business environment. IDdesign is the largest retailer of Danish furniture with more than 1.000 employees, over 60 stores and annual sales of 1.6 billion DKK (approx. 5.8 billion Czech crowns). At first the representation of IDdesign in the Czech Republic will consist of two Scandinavian franchise stores, but the aim of the company is to constitute five to eight direct representations.

Foreign representation of IDdesign consists of 20 franchise stores, of which only one is located in a Central European country, specifically in Hungary. Company focuses on production of Scandinavian design furniture of high quality designed for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms.

Retail chain IDdesign is owned by the JYSK group, which has been active in the Czech Republic for several years with own stores and turnover of nearly two billion Czech crowns.
