Another stop of the travelling exhibition „Sophie´s Choice In the Czech Way“ by journalist and researcher Judita Matyášová, became the town of Vordingborg. The Czech Embassy in Copenhagen prepared the exhibition together with The Local Historical Association in Vordingborg and Vordingborg Library. The exhibition was launched in the library 3 March 2014.
At the beginning of the opening, historian Allan Huglstad welcomed guests and briefly talked about arrival of the Czech children to Denmark which he first learnt about in the '90s during his own research. His archival materials, which he managed to find, became in 2011, an important source of information for journalist Judita Matyášová at the beginning of her investigation.
