The 40th anniversary of Škoda Autoklub DK

On Saturday 26 April 2014 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Danish Škoda Autoklub, an encounter of the club´s members took place at the Czech ambassador´s residence in Copenhagen.
In the vicinity of the residence, the guests had an opportunity to see Škoda veteran cars from the 60´ies, 70´ies and 80´ies but also the newest model of Škoda Superb.
The Czech Ambassador Jiří Brodský held a reception for invited guests where he had a speech in Danish. He spoke about the tradition and quality of the Škoda brand and he called the members of Škoda Autoklub DK a unique Danish club of friends of the Czech Republic. They have been visiting the country almost every year since 1974 and have a very close relationship with it. He also spoke of an increasing market share of Škoda Auto in Denmark, the success of the new Škoda Octavia and future plans of the car company.
The event was held with the support of the Danish representation of Škoda Auto and representatives from the business sector and important representatives of the Danish society were also invited.
