Czech Republic Presented Its Own Pavilion at the TechCrunch Disrupt Conference in New York

New York was a scene of one of the most prestigious events for start-ups in the world, TechCrunch Disrupt conference between May 9 to 11 2016, at which several Czech start-ups were introduced thanks to the contribution of the project of economic diplomacy.
Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York in cooperation with the Czech ICT Alliance and CzechInvest agency supported the participation of Czech startups at the prestigious TechCrunch Disrupt NYC 2016 conference. In the course of three days the area of Brooklyn Cruise Terminal introduced under the "Stratup Alley" series several startup companies which were seeking partners for expansion, financing and development of their product or service.
Four start-ups caught interest of visitors within the exposition presented as part of the Czech national pavilion: Agent Balance, Clever Monitor, Databreakers and Sourcy. The visitors could obtain general information about the Czech ICT and an investment environment also at the information booth of the Czech Republic, where the economic counsellor of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York City was available for discussion together with the representatives of CzechInvest agency. The Czech pavilion has presented a diverse range of technological innovations from sophisticated contact management, direct marketing, data analysis and prediction, to a better control of social media.
"To succeed in the highly competitive US market is not easy, the opportunity to find a strong partner to help Czech startups with quality product is therefore very important and TechCrunch is in this respect a unique platform," said Martin Dvořák, Consul General of the Czech Republic in New York.
