The Physics for Future (P4F) Fellowship – New Opportunity for Postdoctoral Researchers

Physics for Future aims to recruit 30 exceptional researchers for its postdoctoral fellowship program, providing a unique opportunity for postgraduate students to conduct a bottom-up research project of their choice over the span of 2 years in the Czech Republic. Successful applicant will be given the opportunity to conduct their research within the excellent facilities of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences or Eli Beamlines. The first call is now open!
P4F is a postdoctoral fellowship program with an interdisciplinary and intersectoral focus, designed for excellent scientists who pursue their own research endeavors. It was co-funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND and coordinated by the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, a leading research institution in basic and applied physics.
The P4F's scientific scope encompasses the following domains:
- astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology;
- atomic, molecular and chemical physics,
- biophysics,
- condensed matter physics,
- fluids and plasma physics (including surface physics),
- high energy physics,
- nano materials,
- nuclear physics,
- optics,
- pure mathematics, applied mathematics,
- statistical physics.
This project also enables researchers to access a broad network of partners for secondments, and receive comprehensive scientific, transferable, and soft-skill training. Successful applicants will be rewarded with interdisciplinary environment, access to cutting-edge infrastructure, international academic network, personalized supervision, and career guidance.
