
Applications for Financial Donations to Czech Organizations for 2026

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago informs Czech expatriate organizations and associations within its jurisdiction about the opportunity to apply for financial donations for projects to be implemented in 2026, under the program of Czech Government aimed at supporting Czech cultural heritage abroad.
Application Deadlines
Online application submission: by August 1, 2025
Printed and signed application: must be delivered in person or by mail to the Consulate no later than August 1, 2025. (Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago, 205 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 1680, Chicago, Illinois, 60601, USA)
Who Can Apply - Eligible applicants include legal entities such as:
1) Czech expatriate associations,
2) Friends of the Czech Republic societies,
3) Alumni associations of Czech schools,
4) Bohemist organizations.
Supported Activities:
1) Cultural and educational projects (e.g., lectures, exhibitions, festivals, Czech School Without Borders),
2) Publishing of expatriate materials (electronic formats are encouraged),
3) Maintenance and repairs of expatriate properties (to a limited extent and only if justified).
Required Attachments:
1) Completed application form,
2) Detailed project description including timeline and budget,
3) Copy of organization registration and bylaws (for new applicants),
4) Financial report for previous grants 2024 (copy of the report presented in January 2025).
Reporting Requirements:
Organizations that received funding in 2025 must submit a financial report by January 15, 2026.
